Joes American Bar And Grill Gluten

Rejoice, my celiac friends! There is actually a restaurant in Boston that understands cross contamination for those highly sensitive folk out there. This place is Joes American Bar and Grill on Newbury Street, which not only has a separate fryer for fried items, but also a completely separate kitchen.

Yes, at Joes American you can go out with your friends and get a burger with a bun and a side of fries just like everyone else! And you can get toast with your eggs rather than a sad side of fruit that youll still get charged for. At Joes, you dont have to worry about the gluten free tax.

For everyone else, Joes is just a fun, lively place with great food from burgers to salads to pizza. Sit in the glass enclosed bar and patio area right on Newbury street for some prime people watching, or in the large, classic, sunken dining area below.

A note to celiac or gluten free eaters: Joes has other locations in the area, but their menus and kitchen practices are unique so check before you go to another location!

The Dedham And Woburn Locations Of The Chain Closed Leaving Just The Two Boston Locations

DEDHAM, MA Joes American Bar & Grill closed two of its four locations, one of which was in Dedham.

The Dedham restaurant was located at 985 Providence Highway and was closed along with the Woburn location. The closures leave just the two Boston locations as the last restaurants of the chain standing.

Joes American Bar & Grill temporarily closed its locations in March due to the coronavirus, but had plans to reopen once state regulations allowed. The chains website shows only the two Boston locations listed and a search for the Dedham location lists the restaurant as closed.
