If you constantly dream of diving into a prime dry-aged steak in a chic yet relaxed atmosphere, The Capital Grille is the perfect eating excursion for you. There are three conveniently located Manhattan locations that are the kinds of places youâll want to âsink your teeth into.â New York Lifestyles recently visited the Chrysler Tower location and we were seated in the spectacular Atrium known as The Trylon. Its glass and metal peaks mimic the architecture of the Chrysler Buildingâs rooflines. The airy, art deco feeling of that room is something that you wonât soon forget.
The Capital Grille puts an elegant yet modern spin on the traditional New York steakhouse tradition. It has everything you would expectâlarge cuts of dry-aged prime beef and classic steakhouse sides and desserts like Caesar Salad and New York Style Cheesecake, respectively. But you also have world-class lobster, surf and turf and hand-selected fish. The pasta dishes here are more experimental than you might expect and that just might be due to Executive Chef Juan Arboleda. You see, he cut his teeth at acclaimed Northern Italian cooking schools and eateries. The handsome bearded Long Island native came aboard in 2007 as a sous chef and worked up to executive chef in 2011. He has since not only kept the Chrysler Tower location earning rave reviews but has overseen the openings of numerous locations in the U.S. and Mexico.

Capital Grille To Bring New Life To Metlife Building
The MetLife Building, aka 200 Park Avenue, hasnt been quite the same since its ground-floor and lobby restaurants closed as part of a long-term tower overhaul by landlords Tishman Speyer and Irvine Company.
But that is going to soon change.
In one of the years largest restaurant deals anywhere, Capital Grille has signed a lease for a huge, 15,000-square-foot steakhouse along East 45th Street to replace Naples 45. The opening is set for mid-2023.
Also coming are Jacks Stir Brew Coffee and Black Seed Bagels, which will open later this year in the lobby.
Talks are ongoing to fill the former La Fonda del Sol space.
The tower recently underwent a major redesign of its lobby and improved connections with Grand Central Terminal.
The National Labor Relations Board Is Going After Starbucks
Workers voted down a union election in one of Starbucks Buffalo shops earlier this year, but the NLRB alleges that the election was not fairly held because the coffee chain has been intimidating and retaliating against workers who are seeking to unionize, according to the New York Times. The NLRB is now seeking to make Starbucks recognize the union at that store.

Other Brands Dunk On Grubhub Over Its Free Lunch Disaster
The theres no such thing as a free lunch jokes really wrote themselves after last weeks Grubhub promotional lunch debacle. For its part, the food delivery app maintains that the promotion drove incredible business to restaurants, according to a spokesperson, and diners with cancelled orders were credited $15 to their accounts, while restaurants were not charged for cancelled orders due to lack of drivers.
