Some Important Points To Know Before You Buy
Utensils: To protect the non-stick finish on the grill plate, be sure to use only plastic or wooden utensils for turning and lifting food.
For roasting foods, you can place meat or chicken in a shallow baking pan and place the pan on the grill. Simply resting a metal baking pan on the grill surface is not going to damage it.
Cord Length: Some people complain that the power supply cord is very short, but the fact is, thats a safety feature. You can, of course, use an extension cord, as long as you adhere to the manufacturers guide. The instruction booklet explains how to choose the proper cord and also how to arrange it safely for either indoor or outdoor use.
Indoor Use: For indoor use, be sure your countertop surface can withstand temperatures of 150 degrees F. If not, the finish on your countertop can be discolored or damaged.
Also be aware that when you use the grill indoors, it can be somewhat top heavy because of the shape and the fact that the bottom is not weighted. If you have limited indoor space, consider where you plan to use the grill for inside cooking, and make sure you have ample counter space.
Keep in mind that this grill is not as large as a lot of gas or charcoal grills, so indoor storage may be feasible for you. Covers are available. Amazon recommends one that gets some good reviews, and you might also search for a good smoker cover which should be about the right size for this grill.

Kohls To Sell George Foreman Grill For $999

Ill admit, George Foremans Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine got me through college. Ill also admit, I still have that very old model and its plug still finds its way into the electrical outlet occasionally, especially when I am late coming home and my wife wanted to cook something really quickly and easily.
While I would only recommend it as a last resort, its hard to not pick up a George Foreman at this price. Kohls Black Friday sale will be selling the Lean Mean grill for $9.99, after $10 mail in rebate. The regular price is $39.99, so this is a steal. So if you are the type that will be out at 3AM on the day after Thanksgiving, pick one up for you or for a gift. CNN has it as one of the top Black Friday deals as well.

What About Cleanup
Like virtually all of the newer George Foreman grill models, the GGR50B features a removable grill plate. That makes for easier cleanup, but lets be clear on that. This grill plate is immersible so you can wash it in the sink, but it is NOT dishwasher safe.
The non-stick surface makes the grill plate relatively easy to clean. Just be sure not to use any sort of abrasive pads or brushes with hard bristles. George Foreman makes some good sponges especially for this purpose, which you can see below under Accessories.
While having so much cooking space is great, there is one possible down side to that, and it comes at cleanup time. Depending on the size of your sink, the large grill plate can be a little cumbersome to clean. That could be difficult in a very tiny apartment or a camper. Otherwise I wouldnt consider it a deal breaker. For one thing, its still easier to clean than most other outdoor grills.
