Stage : Prep Your Meat

While your barbecue is warming up, prep your pork loin for smoking. First, you want to manage the fat on the flank. You can score the fat in a slanting example by cutting jewel shapes with your blade sharp edge around 1/4 profound, or you can remove the fat assuming you wish.

Later you can manage your pork loin as you would prefer, cover it with a slim, even layer of yellow mustard. Relax, the mustard taste on your cooked pork loin will be not recognizable. The mustard goes about as a decent cover to assist with keeping your meat delicious, and it gives your grill something to adhere to.

When your pork loin is scoured down with mustard, sprinkle it with your beloved BBQ rub or preparing. Keep in mind, pork loin is lean, and most cuts are thick so dont be reluctant to do a thick layer of preparation on your meat.

To Precook Or Not To Precook

The rationale behind pre-cooking ribs is to tenderize the meat before it hits the grill. Then the grilling portion of the cooking process is more to add the char and adhere the sauce to the ribs. But is it necessary? If youre making side ribs, then yes, its a very good idea. As mentioned earlier, side ribs tend to be tougher than back ribs and benefit from some low-heat cooking to tenderize the meat.

Pre-cooking back ribs is optional it can make for an exceptionally tender rib, but it can be bypassed if youre not interested in cooking for hours. Do not precook country-style ribs if you intend on grilling them or they will be very dry.
