Had lunch with friends, we havenât been to Kona is awhile. Food was fine, it was pretty quiet. Our waitress seemed like she was having an off day. Just not good service⦠our food was spicy and we had zero water. Took forever to get a refill. Then she just had an attitude with one of my friends. It felt like she was too busy for us but there was one other table she was hosting.
The food and service were great, but this restaurant is very tired and worn. Seating has holes in it, a window in the door to the menâs room is broken, partitions around booths are still up and are filthy. Not sure Iâd go back until they freshen it up a bit. Makes me concerned about how the kitchen looks.
