The front desk staff, doorman, and concierge were amazing. The cleaning crew was a little pushy about cleaning, even when the do-not-disturb sign was posted. I had one issue with my stay that I mentioned during check-out, and even though I was leaving, they still managed to satisfy my concern and provide service recovery. Outstanding! I plan on returning if for nothing other than to experience again such amazing lobby staff.

First rate service from the entire staff. Security is very good and if you have any questions the staff could not have been more helpful. The decorations of the rooms is impeccable and the amenities outstanding. Room service is very good. The rooms are well maintained and are in good condition. Housekeeping is well organized and extremely helpful. The entire staff were friendly and my stay was wonderful because of all of the staff.

The Regency New York was fantastic. We stayed over memorial day weekend and were treated so well. Emily at the front desk was extremely helpful with our late checking due to a delayed flight and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent and the drinks were superb, bar snacks were a nice touch as well. I would definitely stay again.

Comfortable well decorated room – reasonably quiet on the ninth floor even with the great view of Park Avenue below. At first I was worried about a room that was fairly close to the elevator but the noise was not noticeable in the room. Some noise bleed-over from the adjoining rooms but well within tolerance level.The bathroom is well appointed with a great shower. Sufficient closet hanging space and hangers even for a multi day stay. The TV in the bathroom mirror was a nice touch.The lobby bar was excellent for lunch and a great place for an evening beverage. Carlos runs a well appointed bar and mixes excellent drinks.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around…Requested early check-in and got our room at 2:40 . Room was clean. Standard king size bed. Bathroom was a bit small but we’re in NYC so what do you expect. Would stay here again. Close proximity to Central Park and the shops. Would I stay again? Nah. There’s plenty of other high end hotels to stay in and this one didn’t stand out.

I had the pleasure of spending a week at The Loews Regency and loved every minute of it. It was my first visit ever to NYC and found your location was perfect for transit, attractions, theatre, restaurants, the Park…it allowed me to get to everywhere I wanted to go with the least amount of hassel. Your staff was very helpful, prompt and attentive. My next visit to NYC will include a stay at The Regency again!

Myself and my Mum stayed here for a week while visiting NYC and we loved our experience here. We found it great value and a wonderful central location, just beside Madison Square Garden, Macys and The Empire State Building. Their Facility fee was around $70 extra over our 7night stay, this was fully explained when we checked in and we were happy to pay the extra as the internet was handy to have in our rooms and we got free international calls home . I really did think there would be a catch to this but nope, all free :)The bedroom was a little small but was completely manageable and lovely and clean and nicely decorated. We also had a great view of the Empire State Building.

The hospitality from Christopher Koliopoulos was superb. The room was well appointed and pretty much impeccable. The location was relatively peaceful in the evening for being in midtown Manhattan, yet just a few blocks from the main tourist attractions. My only hesitation was the bartenders at the restaurant within the hotel were quite unpleasant, to say the least, but I wrote a separate review for that experience. Otherwise, we had superb service with all the staff from the bellhops to the front desk to the maid service — everyone was helpful, pleasant, and kind. They all did their very best and should be commended.

Location was two quick blocks from Central Park, which was the main reason for staying at Loews. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. I would appreciated a coffee maker in the room, but it gave me an excuse to find some coffee shops in the vicinity. Overall, very happy with the hotel and would stay there again.
Elegant Rooms With Plenty Of Light And Attention To Comfort
Despite a typically small Manhattan footprint, the spare but elegant design, emphasizing light and airinessbig windows, cherry-blossom artwork above the bedsmakes rooms seem spacious. The rooms are full of thoughtful extras, including the omnipresent electric outlets at the base of the lamps and on the sides of the large, ergonomically designed desks iPod docks by the beds and Frette linens. The attention to detail extends to the bathrooms, where guests can continue watching their shows on the televisions set into the mirrors, blow out their hair with salon-grade dryers, and check make-up in power-lit magnifying mirrors. Coffeemakers are surprisingly absent, however, and rooms with kitchenettes lack utensils . Note that some bathrooms have walk-in showers rather than shower/tub combosa pro for some but not others.

While I have stayed in just about every major hotel in the Upper East Side, the Loews Regency keeps me coming back! This place has always been great, and the recent renovations have taken this hotel to a whole other level! The location is ideal only two blocks from the park, the staff is always extremely courteous and eager to assist, the rooms are well designed and stocked with all the amenities.I will be back very soon!
A Smartly Decorated Hotel Frequented By Similarly Smartly Dressed Well
The recipient of a buzzed-about $100 million makeover completed in 2014, the hotel lobby shows of clean lines, marble tile floors, columned Art Deco grandeur, 24-foot ceilings, and velvet sofas as you enter. A long, narrow seating area is off to the side, where obviously well-heeled guests chat and lounge under popcorn-flowers-and-butterflies artwork by Brooklyn artist Nina Helms. The best part? The leisurely atmosphere and relaxed attitudes of the cosmopolitan guests, not a single one of whom had a laptop or smartphone out on our visit. Jonathan Nehmer + Associates provided the architecture for the entire renovation, including all public areas, back of house, spa, 379 guestrooms and new food and beverage outlets. Interior designers for the project were Rottet Studio and Meyer Davis Studio .

This comprehensive renovation is a shining example of how to create a unique experience to better serve the needs of the guest.
The hotel now features 328 apartment-style guestrooms and 58 suites with a fresh aesthetic, according to the company. In addition, there are four private meeting spaces equipped with advanced technology, and The Regency Bar & Grill serving lunch, dinner and the return of the Power Breakfast. The new Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa flagship will open in March.
Loews Regencys guestrooms, also designed by Rottet Studio, feature Frette linens and bathrobes, smart televisions and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Additionally, Loews Regency will debut six signature suites this spring.

This was my third stay at this hotel. It’s ideally located near the Park Avenue Armory, and close to many excellent restaurants within walking distance. It’s also very close to the Park. They have a bar with a restaurant as well as an Italian coffeehouse/bakery around the corner. The bed is consistently extremely comfortable, and they give you a couple small waters each day as well as a couple of cookies every evening from the bakery. I will definitely stay here again next year.

A top class hotel with a very friendly and professional team, from concierge to house keeping. The bed is very comfortable and the room showed a glimpse of luxury:-) with a TV LCD in the mirror of the bathroom. WiFi is free for up to three devices and the speed is very good.You walk just two blocks to the subway, to Central Park, to 5th Avenue, even Rockefeller Center is just a 20 min walk. We stayed 6 nights in this beautiful hotel and we will in the future look for Loews hotels wherever we go.
