Too low a heat can dry out your meat and prevent it from browning properly. A medium-high fire is ideal for browning and achieving a crisp golden crust.

The next step is to season the chicken with salt. If youre using a sugar-based sauce, rub it on the breast during the last 10 minutes of cooking. Then, turn the breasts 90 degrees and cook another two minutes. Then, youre ready to grill!

If you want to grill your chicken without oil, season it with salt and pepper, and place it skin-side-up on the grill. Cook the chicken until it reaches 165 degrees F. To know whether your chicken is done, use a meat thermometer to check its internal temperature.
