Major Food Group will launch multiple dining concepts as part of Boca Raton Resort & Clubâs $150 million transformation
The ongoing $150 million transformation of the Boca Raton Resort & Club will result in many upgrades and updates, among them an elevation of the culinary scene at the iconic resort.
Renowned New York-based restaurant group Major Food Groupâthe company behind some of todayâs hardest-to-score tables, including Carbone and Parm in New York Cityâwill expand to the Boca Raton Resort and launch multiple new dining concepts.
The first, slated to open July 2021, is The Flamingo Grill, an American chophouse that aims to transport patrons to a bygone era of midcentury glamour. The sophisticated menu will sport elegant takes on classic dishesâthink perfectly executed steaks or a banana split flambéed tableside.
Sadelleâs, a brunch institution with locations in Soho and Las Vegas, will open next, and the plan is for additional restaurants to focus on the cuisines of Japan and Italy. Rockwell Group is designing the restaurants with King & Partners.
Aside from the new restaurants, the redesigned Boca Raton Resort & Club will feature new amenities, a complete reconfiguration of the Tower, and even a four-acre lakefront oasis with luxury cabanas, four pools, and a lazy river.

Floridas The Boca Raton Unveils $200 Million Renovation
As it approaches its centenary, South Floridas The Boca Raton has released details of its $200 million transformation.
The Boca Raton includes five hotels set across a 200-acre site, including a spa, 18-hole golf course, racquet club, pool club and marina.
Nearly all of the resort has been reimagined during the renovation work. It originally opened in 1926 as the Ritz-Carlton Cloister Inn. Now known as Cloister, the hotel has undergone a comprehensive renovation across its 294 rooms and suites and 12 restaurants and bars.
The Boca Raton Bungalows offer 58 residential-style two bedroom suites, which have been redesigned and now feature mid-century modern decor alongside contemporary elements. The bungalows are located by the harbour and have a private pool.
This autumn the resorts Tower will reopen following a $45 million transformation, overseen by architecture and design firm Rockwell Group. Located by the harbour, the 27-storey pink building features 224 suites and rooms. They offer flexible configurations aimed at multi-generational families and groups of friends, including adjoining suites and the option to book an entire floor.
The Boca Raton Beach Club will also undergo a renovation in 2023. It offers 212 rooms and suites with beachside interiors, three pools and the Mediterranean restaurant Marisol.
The Boca Raton Debuts The Flamingo Grill
The revamped and recently renamed resort, The Boca Raton, has launched its newest restaurant. The Flamingo Grill is the first of four concepts that Major Food Group has created for the iconic property.
The elegantly tropical restaurant is bringing back sophisticated tableside preparations and classic dishes that have a Florida twist to them. Look forward to the Golden Beet Carpaccio, a vegetarian spin on the traditional and a theatrical tableside Banana Split Flambée.
Before dinner, slip onto a plush bar stool and try a signature cocktail like the Hemingway Daiquiri, a refreshing blend of rum, lime and grapefruit.

Flamingo Grill And Beach Club
Ive been a member of The Boca Raton for 10+ years. This property has always been plagued by poor management and communication along with terrible execution. It was once sophisticated but over the years it has evolved into the Catskills with screaming children everywhere. Parents drop off their children and teens, to spend the day unsupervised. This should stop! I was hoping Michael Dells hedge fund would reverse this trend. So far its been mixed. The Flamingo Grill is a terrible disappointment. Overpriced mediocre food and small portions. Sad, because the room is beautiful. The Beach Club Is overwhelmed, but Im hoping once covid is over, this settles down. The communication continues to be poor. Difficulty getting an operator to make dinner reservations. Why cant they have online booking? Why make it difficult for your costumers to spend money at your resort? The spa should not operate until the renovation is complete. In its temporary location, its not worth booking. Im hopeful after the renovation things will improve. The water slide, new pool and the restaurants look beautiful. I hope they will be operated properly. This resort has the potential to be comparable to the Breakers, if operated properly.More
