South Bar And Kitchen

Poppy’s Time Out Sports Bar & Grill

200 S. Palafox Place, Pensacola 850-332-7952 200southpalafox.com

At 200 South Bar and Kitchen, the bar and its patrons take their football seriously. During football season, 200 South and its sister restaurant, Graffiti Pizza, put up a large screen between their patios and temporarily conjoin for the weekend lineup of college and NFL games on Saturdays and Sundays.

Its not just a weekend affair. Fans can find their favorite teams playing on any of the 22 televisions located inside the bar on Monday and Tuesday nights.

On tap, there are 50 beers handpicked by the product manager and an additional 450 bottled beers available, plus tavern-style food to keep hunger at bay during games. Thats a sizeable offering and may remind some of another bar called World of Beer. Thats because 200 South Bar and Kitchen is owned and operated by the franchise founders.

The bar started as a World of Beer in 2012 when founders Matt LaFon and Scott Zepp sold their majority share of the business and negotiated to open a franchise here in their hometown of Pensacola. C. Brandon Girod, Pensacola News Journal

The bar was rebranded as 200 South Bar and Kitchen in 2022 and is part of a family of three other bars and restaurants located on the same block collectively called 200 South.

St Louis Bar And Grill

It has the worst customer service that i have ever seen, food was amazing but i never like to go this place again . Waiterest complain about everything and they were so rude especially their manager who was not patient. And she was talking to…us very bad!!More

The wings are super delicious, especially on Tuesday deal prices! However, if you do go to this location on a Tuesday, make sure you are prepared to wait 45 min-1 hour… it gets quite busy!!I also tried some of their salads and it was…also a very good healthy option.More

Stopped in for dinner one night, while in town on business. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. The service at the bar was professional and friendly. The wings were outstanding and the beer was cold. If I lived near, I would be a regular customer here.

Great spot for wings and beers, have enjoyed for a few yearsThough theres an ongoing Sewer gas smell from the drains, rotten egg/ Methane has, it stinks.Weve complained for months to waitresses and the owner. Owner mentioned that the Landlord wont remedy the…problem. Waitresses say they feel nausea often, opening back door to get odour out.Disappointing that this cant be resolved, weve now decided to switch to another bar, too bad our group spends $200-300 weekly there.More

Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill

1320 Central Ave., St. Petersburg 727-822-4562, fergssportsbar.com

Located across from the Tampa Bay Rays Tropicana Field, Ferg’s is a St. Petersburg landmark that opened in 1992 and helped pave the way for the citys booming Central Avenue district that now surrounds the massive sports bar. A mostly open-air structure covering nearly two city blocks, Fergs features about a hundred TVs, a bunch of bars including one upstairs, a full menu, and everything from a stage for live music, to an axe-throwing area, to a dog park. Yeah, its the perfect place to have a great time regardless of how your team performs, especially if you pair your favorite cocktail or beer with Fergs famous wings. Theyre breaded and crispy, spicy yet buttery, and easily among the most delicious wings youll find in the region. Wade Tatangelo, Sarasota Herald-Tribune

Timeout Bar And Grill Portland

#2,342Restaurants in PortlandSpending timeout in dullsville.

This little dive is hidden away behind a gas station on the corner. Somewhere between a laundromat and a plasma donation place. Sounds creepy already don’t it?I wandered inside wondering what it might be like. What I found was a small bar that seemed…to have only three beers on tap. a small bar that contains chilled area holding bottles of beer at the bar. And a rather inattentive fellow behind the bar. There are also not many places to sit at the ba,r but there are some tables scattered about the room. There is a pool table. and a video poker area with a few people playing. On the wall near them as several postings on how you can get 86’ed from this dive. A sign saying “smile you are on camera.” The more I saw the less I liked the vibe. I ordered one of the three draft beer choices that they had. The lesser of the three evils was Blue Moon which I only drink once in a blue moon. It cost me $4.50 at 2:30 PM. I walked over to the video poker machine and feed several bucks in with little or no chances to get it back.I then moved to a tables and noticed that they had three TV screens yacking away. I soon felt like I was doing timeout in dullsville. I drain my drink and left rather swiftly.I’m not coming back to this dive again. It’s not a fun place to spend time. I wounder if the plasma place might be more fun?More
