    How To Wrap Vegetables In Foil

    Layout the veggies in a longer path than wider. This keeps enough veggies for a servig without piling them too thick.

    Grab the long edges on each side and pull up to meet at the middle.

    Carefully fold over the top length by about one inch. Fold over again by about one inch so that you are double sealing the top. Fold over again.

    Lay flat with the fold down the center. See the photo below.

    Now fold each short end up and fold over again and again. This is making very secure edges so the moisture and dairy-free butter doesn’t drip out of the packets.

    How To Make Foil Grill Packets:

    To make a foil packet for the grill:

  • Add your veggies to a pieces of flat aluminum foil. We did 2 separate packets for this recipe because its a lot of veggies!
  • Tuck the longer sides of the foil in towards the vegetables. Fold over the aluminum foil so its completely covered.
  • You can also fold a second piece of foil over the packet to ensure it will not fall open when grilling.
  • When youre ready to grill cook these for about 15-20 minutes. Be careful when removing them from the grill/opening the packet. Use tongs!

    Grilled Vegetables in the Oven: You can cook these foil packets in the oven. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

    Enjoy all of those garden veggies in the summer and make the perfect side dish on the grill. You can get veggies for very little and it is so healthy too.

    Even during the non summer months, it is very reasonable and inexpensive. We love recipes that are budget friendly and taste amazing.

    The grill makes this recipe super easy and I love that it is easy clean up. It always amazes me that the kids dont complain about eating their veggies when they are grilled. Vegetarian foil packet recipes are so tasty.

    Grilling Cauliflower Using A Foil

    • Make big florets of cauliflower by cutting and rinsing
    • Using a sharp knife, cut each piece in half right through the stem.
    • Lightly season the cauliflower with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
    • A quarter-sheet-pan-sized piece of foil should be laid out, then gently sprayed with olive oil.
    • Wrap the cauliflower in aluminum foil, making sure it is evenly distributed throughout. Then, fold the edges up.
