Fuel Type And Monitoring
As we mentioned above, you can select either propane or natural gas for your fuel when you buy your grill. Though the natural gas model is more expensive, it is highly efficient and heats extremely evenly. Of course, propane is a much cheaper fuel to procure and also works well on a grill. The fact that the propane model is much cheaper makes that particular grill a hard one to pass up.
The grill comes equipped with a built-in thermometer which makes it very easy to maintain the internal temperature of the grill. This grill is also compatible with Weberâs iGrill 3 Smart technology, which makes monitoring your meal a minuscule task. The actual iGrill 3 system, however, is sold separately.

The Genesis II range features models powered by two fuel types, coming in grills using liquid propane or natural gas. Heat Output And Temperature Control
The Genesis II E-315 is a three-burner grill. As such, it shouldnât be too much of a surprise that it puts out a hefty amount of heat. With these three burners, you can easily crank out 39,000 BTUs. This high BTU output makes it quick and simple to heat up the grill, which makes it much easier to get grilling faster.
The grill has a thermometer built into the lid that will allow you to quickly and easily read the temperature. The numbers are nice and large on the thermometer, which makes it easier to check the temperature. The thermometer is also quite accurate, which is another huge bonus.

Weber Genesis S 310 Review
First of let me talk about the set up with this grill. The set up overall was quite easy and the instructions where well laid out and easy to follow along. The whole process of getting everything out of the box and put together took me about 1 hour taking everything from the box took the longest though.
Once you have the grill built you will see it in all its glory. The top half has a silver design will some stainless-steel parts. The bottom is a darker colored design. For me personally this is easily one of my favorite looking grills. Everything has a real clean finish and design that I really like.
As for the form factor for the grill I really like the size of the grill. It is perfect size for home use it offers plenty of space for cooking while still not remaining too big. The side shelves can also be folded down to make more space if needed.
Above the main cooking area there is a warming rack which can be used to cook foods more slowly or keep them warm while finishing up some other food. Also, the cooking hood can be closed down and the temperature can be monitored using the built-in thermometer which is nice.
Finally, I want to mention the overall durability of this grill. Everything is of high quality from the cooking grates to the burner dials everything has been designed and built using the best quality materials and that is covered with Webers 10-year warranty which is a nice piece of mind to have as well.

We love sear burners! Many gas grills need sear burners to properly sear foods. Genesis gets pretty hot with just the main burners, but when it comes to sizzling steak and shrimp, the more firepower the better.
