Grilled Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs Recipe
Instructions Heat your grill to low heat. Wrap one slice of bacon around each hot dog. Use 2 toothpicks per hot dog to secure them on the ends. Grill the hot dogs on low heat for several minutes, turning every couple minutes to cook all the bacon.
Place the stuffed hot dogs on the grill, stuffing side down. Grill for 2 minutes, until the bacon on that side is cooked, turn the hot dogs a quarter turn and grill for a couple more minutes. The best tip for making grilled cheese without burning it? Keep a close eye on it. Dont walk away from the pan, but rather watch it closely to ensure it doesnt burn. After one side of the sandwich has cooked for about 2 minutes, lift one corner of the grilled cheese to make sure its golden brown. If so, flip and cook the other side until its browned to your liking.
Grilled Brie Cheese With Fruit Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 4 slices multi-grain & seed bread
- 2 TBS of butter at room temperature
- 16 thin slices of brie cheese
- 8 thin slices of peaches or 12 slices of large strawberries*
*If you dont have or want fresh fruit, use an apricot marmalade or blackberry jam.
Total time: 8 minPrep time: 5 min Cook time: 3 min Serves: 2 people
Directions:
1. Preheat your Foreman Grill for at least 5 minutes. Use the medium-high setting if your grill has that option.
2. Butter one face of all 4 slices of bread. Turn 2 slices of bread over so that the unbuttered side faces up. Place 1/2 the cheese on these slices of bread. Place the fruit or spoonfuls of fruit spread on top of the cheese. Add the remaining brie to the sandwiches and top with the other piece of bread with the buttered side facing up.
3. Place the assembled sandwiches on the grill and close the lid. Cook for up to 3 minutes until golden brown with light grill marks and the cheese has melted.
4. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve with a mustard dipping sauce and cornichon pickles on the side.

Tip 1: One concern that I’ve heard about is that the air fryer makes the top piece of bread fly off because of the intense air circulation that goes on inside the appliance. To avoid this, you can simply stab the grilled cheese with a tooth-pic and voila – problem solved!
Tip 2: Don’t use any metal utensils to flip your grilled cheese. The nonstick is super important for the air fryer basket so you don’t want to use anything that might damage it.

Tips For The Best Grilled Cheese
- Low heat it takes a little patience to make the perfect grilled cheese. Keep your heat on low to give the cheese time to fully melt while the bread gets golden and crisp. If browning too fast, turn the heat down.
- Butter generously the amount of butter may seem like a lot, but it is important for a crispy exterior.
- Use thick-sliced bread we love using Texas toast because its sliced about twice as thick as normal sandwich bread. You want bread that is about 3/4 to 1 thick, but also avoid bread that is too thick or your cheese wont melt properly. Using bread that is too thin will produce a flimsy and sometimes soggy sandwich.

Can You Get A Sandwich On The Subway The Next Day
Subway sandwiches should be eaten as soon as possible. I recommend not refrigerating them at all as a sub will lose its flavor and texture within the first hour of being refrigerated or not after not being eaten. I definitely dont recommend refrigerating a toasted bun as the bread only stays toasted for a long time.
How Long To Cook Grilled Cheese On Each Side
This will vary depending on the type and thickness of your bread, the type and thickness of your cheese, and how hot your pan gets.
Typically though, youll find that about 5 minutes per side is enough! You can flip the sandwich a few times at the end to ensure evening cooking.
Remember, you dont want to have your pan too hot the bread will burn before the cheese melts! You also dont want to cut the bread, cheese, or any other ingredients too thick.
Youll know your grilled cheese is done when the bread is slightly browned and the cheese has all melted!
