Since 1992 The Pearl Restaurant Group Has Grown Into One Of The Premier Restaurant Groups In The New York Metropolitan Area

Founded by Jim Sullivan and Jan Fabry, the Pearl Restaurant Group began as a partnership renovating the Mug Ale House in Rye, NY, and transforming it into the Rye Grill & Bar.

After the transformation of The Rye Grill into a successful enterprise, Jan and Jim felt they could take their talents, expertise and philosophy to other restaurants in the area. Next followed a series of successful restaurants redesigns and launches. In 1993, they opened Lexington Square Café in Mt. Kisco, NY, followed by Elm Street Oyster House in Greenwich, CT. Immediately following the opening of Elm Street in 1995, the partners found an incredible space in Scarsdale, NY, and began construction on the Heathcote Tavern. Heathcote opened in 1996 and maintained continued success for 10 years until the property was sold.

In 2001, after a break from openings and many more years of experience behind them, the partners opened their second location in Rye – Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro. The last three restaurants followed, beginning in 2007, with Morgans Fish House in Rye, NY, followed by The Tap House in Tuckahoe, NY, and finally Ten Twenty Post in Darien, CT in 2008.
