Reviews For New Heights

Myrtle Beach SkyWheel & Landshark Bar & Grill

This is a very elegant restaurant. The waiter maneuvers choreographically . He takes care of your progress. The music is light. The heater is warm outside.I always come to treat myself and to slow down and meditate. Especially having that hot tea slowly run down my throat and I am relaxed. Order a combo and you will be very full, even for someone who eats a lot like me.

Drinks are really good, but the wait time for the food is ridiculous. That’s where the star comes off. Dont get me wrong, the food is good, but the service time to get it is what kills it. An hour wait!?! No where does that!

New Heights Bar With Massive Patio And Cool Cocktails Sets Open Date

Houston’s newest outdoor drinking destination will debut next week. Patterson Park Patio Bar opens to public on Wednesday, April 13.

First announced in 2020, the project unites Houston hospitality veterans Candice and Lonnie Schiller with their daughter and son-in-law Caroline and Brendan Murphy. Founders of concepts such as Cafe Annie, The Grove, and Cafe Express, the Schillers bring decades of experience to the new project, while the Murphy’s bring a fresh perspective to the popular, modern ice house-style patio bar that’s reflected in establishments that range from Axelrad and Truck Yard to Kirby Ice House .

Patterson Park sets itself apart with its lush, tree house-style setting. Described in press materials as a being “reminiscent of a modern day Swiss Family Robinson set,” the dog-friendly bar occupies a tree-shaded area near the White Oak Bayou Trail. Its three levels of seating feature views of the downtown skyline along with a massive, 5,000-square-foot outdoor deck.

Caroline and Candice created the design with architect Craig Schuster, a 20-year veteran of Pappas Restaurants. Elements include: roll-up garage doors a horseshoe-shaped, granite bar a large mural and the previously mentioned, two-level, cantilevered deck.

Food will be provided by a rotating collection of local trucks, while entertainment will be provided by 40 HDTVs as well as arcade and board games.

New Heights Is A Perennial Classysight To Behold Any Time Of Year

Especially in springtime when the lovely lines, colors, and wood tones of the bar fold outside onto the intimate Patio-on-Calvert with its verdant, colorful plantings.

Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows that open up the cozy bar onto Calvert Street, the patio and bar merge into a delightful meeting place for drinks and casual dining. The vista offers diners a mesmerizing visual oasis in the city: DCs own resplendent Rock Creek Park, the lush Klingle Valley running beneath the art deco Taft Bridge, its historic corner lanterns lighting up Kaloramas romantic, tapering cityscape.

If your looking for a happy hour or just wanted to have a night out with friends over drinks, then this is a nice chill spot. Choose between the rooftop deck or sit next to a huge open window. Margaritas and strong and delicious.

Terrific rooftop bar in the upper west side of Central Park. We went by the Seinfeld Restaurant “Tom’s Restaurant” and then across the street to The Heights to have amazing frozen margaritas, bar appetizers, great views and if you sat at the bar there were…under the counter plug-ins for charging your phone. Highly recommend.More

Totally cool, good food, great service, best atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend and revisit.

Stopped in with my brother for a late lunch snack. He enjoyed a couple of cocktails, me a beer, and we both liked the wings. It’s upstairs, and I hear there is an outside deck, but too cold in December for that. Services was fine….A comfortable place to have a drink and some bar food.More
