Verify Your Bbq Grill Model Number
Find the CSA plate/label on your Master Forge grill to get the model number. The CSA tag will have the correct and complete model number. Owners manuals are not the definitive source for model number you might think because they frequently get mixed up at retail outlets by customers and grill assemblers. Look for the Master Forge CSA tag under the front control panel, on the back of the grill, or on the inside of the grill cart doors.

Details: Master Forge Gas Grills imported by LG Sourcing Inc. of North Wilkesboro, N.C. and manufactured by Guangdong Vanward Electric Co., Ltd. of China sold exclusively at Lowe’s stores nationwide from November 2011 through May 2012. The four-burner gas grills have a single-door base and “Master Forge” written on its hood. The model number is located on a label inside the door of the grill’s base.
Why: If improperly installed, the hose connecting the gas tank and regulator to the burner control can touch the burner box and cause the hose to melt and rupture when the grill is lit, posing a fire and burn hazard.
Incidents: Guangdong Vanward is aware of two reports of hoses melting and rupturing. No injuries reported.
