Dining out was the original staycation an affordable and accessible pleasure for family and friends. In tough economic times dining out often replaces vacationing. Similarly Lake vacations close enough to home for a road trip often replace the destination vacation. The Lake House Kitchen Tavern marries these two experiences and celebrates an affordable and casual experience with family, friends and community. Employees are to make sure that our guests enjoy their stay in our Lake House with Complimentary Hospitality and properly prepared food and beverage that is nostalgic of those enjoyed with family and friends at The Lake House.

Highland Street and 5th in Mount Dora is an eclectic and growing area. The Lake House Bar and Grill is one particular local favorite, with indoor and outdoor seating, a friendly atmosphere and good foods.
The Marinacci family created the Lake House Bar and Grill. Their adventure began in San Jose, California. Father Jerry, Pops, planted the seed of restaurant entrepreneurship for his family. It began with an investment in a Baskin Robbins franchise in Ohio. Soon after, they added an Auntie Annes to their portfolio, as well as a Charleys Grilled Subs.
The Marinaccis passion for restaurant adventures eventually led them to Florida, where their endeavors encompassed the landscapes of Sunrise, Lakeland and Bradenton. Pops and family all partook in this grand journey. Son Rich Marinacci and his father eventually bought a piece of property to start their own restaurant. They said they knew it was time to create their own best restaurant.
In 2001, they purchased a restaurant in Mount Dora on Highland Street. They shed their franchises and dedicated their energy to the new location. The first and original name was Sidelines. Yet, as adjustments must be made to grow, it is now Lake House Bar and Grill.
In addition to their menu items, entertainment plays a special part. Monday night bingo, comedy nights and sports festivities exemplify the Marinaccis dedication to pleasing their customers.

The Trianon Lake House Bar & Grill is located off the beaten path. This hot spot for lunch and dinner is popular among both locals and tourists. The restaurant offers the unique experience of an open air café. The gentle breeze, soothing music, and tropical ambiance will make it a memorable part of your day on the lake side. The attitude is casual, because everyone is here for the same reasons: to join good friends, to enjoy plenty of good food, and to have a good time. The Lake House is a lot like the people who walk through our doors: unpretentious, uncompromising, real and relaxed.

Around here, people love the water. When you take a look at the Lake House, this becomes abundantly clear . Naturally, we have gorgeous views of the lake. And when the weather is good and enticing, we have an ample bar and deck outside where you can enjoy the breeze and shoot the breeze with an al fresco lunch or dinner. Weve even built this attitude into our bar.

My cheeseburger was massive and delicious. The onion rings were just shy of perfection. The potato chips were a great surprise. The Arnold Palmer was just right. All went well and the service was fast . I really enjoyed my meal.
We stayed at the Trianon Hotel in Bonita Bay, beautiful place with great staff and amenities. One of which is the Lake House restaurant & bar. From 3:00 to 4:30 its half off all food and drink specials. The blackened fish tacos are loaded with lots of fish. The cheeseburger was also fantastic. Very good service as well. Went here 3 different times. A must go!!!
