I was looking at Big Green Eggs online, but I was appalled at their price and weight, so I was searching for a better alternative when I came across The Virtual Weber Bullet. The site convinced me that a WSM was what I needed, so I started searching Craigslist and found one for sale about 60 miles away in Kansas City. The pictures looked great, and when I got there the next day I found a well-used but wonderfully maintained WSM, so I paid the man and took it home!
The previous owner was a BBQ enthusiast and hed already changed to a Brinkmann water pan and installed a Tel-Tru thermometer, so I was ready to go as soon as I got home and I havent slowed down since. Weber Q2000 Liquid Propane Grill
The Weber Q gas grill comes with only one stainless-steel burner but it produces 12,000 BTU which is pretty neat. You can prepare up to 15 hamburger on the grill because it has 280 sq. inches of cooking space. That is actually pretty big for a Weber tabletop gas grill.
This small Weber gas grill comes with the cooking grates made of porcelain-enameled cast-iron. The same story is with the body, it is made of the aluminum. Including the lid on the grill, the overall dimension of the model is;14.5H x 51.4W x 19.5D inches. The Weber compact gas grill is lightweight and portable which is great if you want to move it around.
You can easily control the entire cooking process on the Weber portable gas barbecue with a push-button for ignition and valve settings made for burners control. The lid comes with a thermometer so you can be sure what is the temperature inside the Weber round gas grill. The juice for the grill comes in disposable 14.1 or 16.4 oz. LP cylinders, but you have to buy them separately.

Once the grill has been pre-heated its time to light the Sear Station. For Summit models, turn the outer burners to off or to low, and then light the Sear Station. For Genesis models, turn the right burner to off or low, and then light the Sear Station. Now its time to put the food to be seared onto the Sear Station.

Weber Genesis Silver C Parts
The Silver C is the three burner grill with a side burner.
I have been unable to locate a supply of side tables or cabinetry hardware for these grills.; I also do not have access to the natural gas conversion kits.
Changing the burner tubes on a Genesis Silver is pretty easy.; I suspect the biggest difficulty that you will run into is trying to remove the rusty screws inside the firebox.; I suggest using Liquid Wrench instead of WD-40 if you need some help getting the screws out. Here is a video that will walk you through the process.
The Silver grills went through some styling modifications during the five years that they were in production.; The biggest difference is that grills manufactured between 2000 and 2003 have the thermometer on the right side of the grill body while grills made in 2004 and 2005 have the thermometer in the center of the lid.; The 2005 model grills came with enclosed storage cabinets underneath the grills.
Before you invest in replacement parts make sure that you check that the frame is still solid.; If you have been storing your grill out by the pool or in some other location with corrosive conditions it is possible that the frame is about to rust out.; Replacement frames are not available for the Silver.; If the frame is about to fail I suggest you invest in a new grill.
