The Napoleon Prestige Pro 885 is a professional grade grill and an absolute unit. Its a propane gas grill has a powerful side burner and an infrared burner. The Genesis II Smart Grill SX-335 comes with the most features of all the Smart Grills. Aside from the stainless steel lid and cabinet doors, this grill comes with 7mm Stainless Steel Cooking Grates. All the other Smart Grills will have porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates.While there are some consumers that do prefer the cast-iron grates, we recommend the Weber Grills that come with stainless grates as they hold up and clean up better over time. How Do I Read My Weber Serial Number
On the Go-Anywhere Gas Grill, Weber began utilizing the same nine-character alphanumeric code that it employs on its charcoal grills in 2013, and this practice continues today. The code is made up of two letters and seven numbers: two letters indicate the model year, with the term CONSUMABLE serving as the key, and seven digits reflect the serial number of the vehicle.
The Grill Isnt Heating Up
This complaint is usually caused by issues with the regulator. The regulator is the small segment of pipe that connects the grill to the gas supply. Weber grill regulator problems can cause the burners to produce only a tiny glimmer of flameor sometimes none at all.
If the issue isnt with the igniter system or the gas supply, a regulator reset could do the trick. First, turn all the burner control knobs and the tank valve to their OFF positions. Take the regulator valve off the gas tank by pulling the metal collar toward the tank, then pulling the valve in the opposite direction.
When youve removed the valve, turn each burner knob to HIGH and wait for at least one minute, then switch them all off again.
Next, youll want to hook the regulator valve back up. Pull the metal collar back toward the tank and insert the tip of the valve directly into the tank. Make sure the valve is secure, then switch the tank valve back on. Attempt to use the grill as you normally would.

The hardest thing about fixing these grills is replacing the burner tubes. The only reason that the burner tubes are tricky is because of one or two screws that get rusted into place. Once you get the screws out then working on these grills is a breeze.

Burners And Warming Trays
Many Weber gas grills feature side burners, which you can use for whipping a sauce or grilling vegetables while you prepare meat in the main cooking area. Some models have two burners while others have up to six. Once again, consider how many people you usually cook for to determine the number of burners youll need.

I havent come across a neater Weber gas grill than the Spirit II E-210. It is more compact than the Spirit II E-310, and has fewer knobs, giving it a very clean interface.
In keeping with the spirit of the Spirit II series this model also comes in fun colors, red being my favorite. You can also get it in sapphire, black and stainless steel.

The Weber Spirit II range is an entry level series developed to cater to someone learning to grill. It is also ideal for a small family. The overall construction is sturdy and although it lacks the features that most seasoned grillers are accustomed to, it does a good job of searing and evenly grilling the meat.
Even a seasoned grilling enthusiast like me cant fault its performance.
I believe it was a great idea to have the porcelain enameled cast iron grates on this particular model, because it makes it easier for a beginner to achieve an even grill. Plus, we dont want to scare beginners away from grilling by giving them the hardest grill to clean. This model is easy to clean and maintain.

Addressing The Grease Problem
So as discussed above, the Gen 1 Weber SmokeFire pellet grills had some niggling issues with the firmware/software, pellet hopper and the auger.
However, for me, these werent the main issue with the SmokeFire pellet grills. My main concern and the concern of several others is the grease/ash management on the SmokeFire pellet grills.
Unlike every other pellet grill on the market today, the Weber SmokeFire pellet grills have no dedicated means to keep the grease away from the pellet fire.
How To Perform Traeger Model Number Lookup
To do that, you first need to verify which Traeger grill model you are genuinely using.
As explained in the introduction part of this article, the model number is easily shown on the inner lid of the hopper.
Now whenever you try and register your product online at the official website, they specifically ask you for the type of model you are using.

I was looking at Big Green Eggs online, but I was appalled at their price and weight, so I was searching for a better alternative when I came across The Virtual Weber Bullet. The site convinced me that a WSM was what I needed, so I started searching Craigslist and found one for sale about 60 miles away in Kansas City. The pictures looked great, and when I got there the next day I found a well-used but wonderfully maintained WSM, so I paid the man and took it home!
The previous owner was a BBQ enthusiast and hed already changed to a Brinkmann water pan and installed a Tel-Tru thermometer, so I was ready to go as soon as I got home and I havent slowed down since. This small Weber gas grill comes with the cooking grates made of porcelain-enameled cast-iron. The same story is with the body, it is made of the aluminum. Including the lid on the grill, the overall dimension of the model is 14.5H x 51.4W x 19.5D inches. Going from one generation to the next of a product there are typically some pretty significant changes. For instance, Ive previously written about the Traeger Pro Series Gen 1 vs Gen 2 and the significant differences with the inclusion of D2 Direct Drive and Traeger WiFire.
Likewise, with my article on the Pit Boss Pro Series Gen 1 vs Gen 2, where the controls were upgraded with PID temperature algorithms and WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity. So what about the Weber SmokeFire Gen 1 to Gen 2, is there a significant difference between the first and second generation?
In short, no, there is not a significant difference between SmokeFire Gen 1 and Gen 2. Now, thats not to say there have not been improvements, there have as well discuss below.
However, the differences are subtle and are really just corrections to the original design of the Gen 1 SmokeFire pellet grills to address some of the issues. So really, instead of Gen 2, its more like these versions are SmokeFire Gen 1.5.
