Although Napoleons infrared burners are of high quality and designed to withstand plenty of use, you should take extra steps to ensure their safety. If the ceramic burners are accidentally damaged on your part, Napoleons warranty will not cover them.
Ceramic burners can be permanently damaged if they sustain impact. Dropping a hard, heavy object on your ceramic burner could result in it cracking and no longer working properly.
Furthermore, if you were to spill cold water onto a hot ceramic burner, theres a chance that the extreme changes in temperature could cause the burner to break. With that said, never throw water into a burner in an attempt to cool it down faster.
