    For Baking In The Oven:

Heres a fantastic secret Im sharing for baking chicken breasts without drying them out. Through much trial and error while perfecting my Chipotle Chicken recipe, I learned that wrapping a sheet of parchment paper over the tops of baking chicken breasts keeps them super juicyand therefore super delicious. The parchment paper also helps them cook evenly.

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Start by swirling some olive oil in the bottom of a baking dish. Then arrange the seasoned chicken in a single layer over the oil.
  • My secret: Cover the chicken with a piece of parchment paper, tucking the edges around the sides of the chicken like a blanket.
  • Bake until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degreesusually about 30 to 40 minutes.

    What Is A Ghost Kitchen

Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken (Low Carb Chicken Recipe) | I Heart Recipes

A ghost kitchen is a conceptualized restaurant menu that is primarily served as take out style or delivery only. A Ghost Kitchen can be a stand-alone commissary building or belong inside an established restaurant with its branding separate from the Ghost Kitchen.

One of the most successful ghost kitchen concepts has been Mr. Beast Burger. Mr. Beast burger is a delivery only sandwich and burger concept that is available through Grubhub and has a limited menu. However, you can always get the namesake Beast Style Burger. Smashed crispy beef patties with house seasoning, American cheese, pickles, diced white onion, mayo, ketchup, and brown mustard on a soft roll. It is a mess of a burger, but delicious!

Wingstops Ghost Kitchen is heavily marketed as Thighstop and is only available ordered and served though Door Dash. I, personally, loved the Thighstop copycat chicken thighs. They are large and have plenty of juicy chicken meat, so in many ways they are a better value than chicken wings.

The air fryer chicken thighs may be one of the easiest recipes I have ever imitated. So hats of to Thighstop.

How Long Can You Marinate Chicken In Lemon Juice

You can marinate chicken in lemon juice for up to 2 hours. After 2 hours, the acid can break down the chicken and ruin the texture of the chicken.

Since we are using 1/2 a cup of lemon juice, this isnt a marinade where we can just set it and forget it. Prep this a little in advance before you want to start grilling. You can double the recipe though!

Is It Okay To Marinate Chicken In Lemon Juice

Yes, however dont over-marinate. Marinade time can be anywhere from 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours.

Step 2: Add chicken & marinade to a resealable bag

To marinate the chicken, simply place the chicken in the bag and pour the marinade over the top of the chicken. I prefer using resealable bags versus containers or pans mostly because the marinade can reach all sides of the meat, versus just one side.

Often times while marinating in a pan or container youll need to rotate the meat. With a plastic bag, you can squish the marinade and meat around, and the liquid coats the meat well.

Refrigerate the marinated chicken for at least 30 minutes or up to 12 hours.

How Do You Grill Chicken Without Drying It Out

The best way to dry out chicken is to overcook it. Because chicken breast meat has little to no fat, it retains very little moisture. Keep the cook times to 5-6 minutes per side on medium-high heat.

Use a meat thermometer to test doneness.

    Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!

Once the chicken is done cooking, let it rest for just a few minutes. This will help keep the chicken juicy.

Ill often double this batch, and grill up extra chicken for leftovers for salad in the days to follow. It makes a fantastic, healthy lunch and is a big time-saver.

These juicy, grilled chicken breasts are cooked with a homemade lemon pepper seasoning blend that brings a great blend of tangy spice. The fresh lemon zest pairs perfectly with cracked black pepper.

This recipe works great with chicken thighs, wings, or drumsticks. Youll just have to adjust the cook time for thicker cuts of chicken. The chicken is great as-is, but you can also jazz it up a bit. Serve your grilled chicken over buttered noodles, rice, or with a pile of my garlic Parmesan grilled broccoli for a simple weeknight meal.
