    Grilled Pork Loin Roast

This recipe for grilled pork loin roast is a keeper. Not only does this recipe use my Award Winning Chicken Seasoning, but the added flavor from the grill can be considered an added flavor by itself. The chicken seasoning is an amazing blend of garlic, onion, rosemary, and thyme to give the pork a very traditional roast flavor.

My Chicken Seasoning is available for purchase from Patio Provisions, but if you dont have any on hand, you can also make your own Lemon Herb Chicken Seasoning from my recipe on this site. It also combines garlic, onion, and a handful of dried herbs to give your pork lots of good flavor. Dont be fooled by the name, this chicken seasoning tastes great on pork too!

It wont take long to prep your roast for grilling. In fact, you only need to dedicate a few minutes to getting it ready to go on the grill. Slice Serve Enjoy Pork Tenderloin

The last thing you want in these final moments is to damage a plate and have your significant other screaming obscenities. No. No. So, Id suggest transferring your pork tenderloins to a carving, or cutting board, to slice it.

With a sharp slicing knife, begin slicing your tenderloins crossways, which is with the grain of the meat. The finished slices should look like a medallion.

What to serve with grilled pork tenderloin? What goes with pork tenderloin? Id say, whatever you want! Vegetables, potatoes, however you want them prepared! The star of the show here is the pork tenderloin itself.

    *Pro Tip*

Dont forget to wipe off your cutting board between slicing the garlic and slicing the tenderloins. Its nothing about contamination. Raw garlic is just much stronger than cooked garlic. Unless you really, really love garlic, it wouldnt be good to rub your cooked tenderloins across strong raw garlic that could overpower your tenderloin.

    You Did It!

See, I told you it was easy-peasy. Who knew Heaven only had seven steps? Pork recipes arent that difficult, the cook time isnt that long, the result is definitely worth it, and you can use the new knowledge to expand your horizons and try, lets say, cooking pork chops with dry rub, making your juiciest pork tenderloin with bbq sauce, or you can even make simple chicken recipes your family favorites!

How Do You Make Grilled Pork Tenderloin

The first thing I do after getting the pork tenderloin out of the package is to pat it dry. I do this because it helps the spices to stick to the meat and wipes off any weird barrier that might have settled on the meat while it was in the package. I then add the tenderloin to a resealable bag, leaving the top open.

Next, I mix together the lemon juice, garlic, spices, oil, mustard, and honey. I pour only half of this marinade over the pork . You want to save the other half for later. Seal the pork and marinade together in the bag and squeeze out any extra air. I also kind of shake/rub the marinade around on the pork outside the bag as well. I then put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, I preheat the grill to about medium and get the grates oiled so that the meat doesnt stick while youre grilling. After the pork has been marinated, I use long tongs to transfer it to the grill, then close the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning every couple of minutes or so so that it cooks on all sides. About halfway through the grilling process, Ill start to spread on the other half of that reserved marinade.

When its done grilling or the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°, I remove the tenderloin from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.

You also might see a more significant amount of clean-up with a charcoal grill, like needing to dispose of ash more often.
