Reheating With The Microwave
- Any extra seasoning you wish to add.
Place your chicken on a plate or dish. You need to make sure its a microwave-safe plate or dish, as you dont want any accidents or explosions in the process of re-heating a bit of chicken!
If youre reheating more than one piece of chicken, make sure you place the bigger pieces on the outside and the smaller pieces at the center.
This is because, in a microwave, food on the outer edge cooks a lot faster, and the bigger pieces of chicken require that extra power of reheating so they can get done at the same time as the smaller pieces.
To ensure that the chicken comes out with regained moisture, its recommended that you cover it in some sort of liquid-based sauce or flavoring. That way, it can absorb the moisture and gain some flavor at the same time.
You could cover it in something such as teriyaki or barbecue sauce.
Place a piece of microwave-safe plastic over the dish or plate to cover the piece or pieces of chicken.
Make sure that the plastic doesnt actually tough the chicken, as it could melt onto it and leave it full of nasty chemicals that you dont want to eat.
Reheat the chicken for around two to three minutes.
Stop the microwave, turn the piece or pieces of chicken over onto their other side, and stir the sauce to be properly absorbed. Then reheat the chicken again for another two to three minutes.

How To Reheat Grilled Chicken Using A Microwave
The microwave is an effective way to reheat grilled chicken if you are in a hurry because it heats the meat pretty quickly. How Do You Know When Chicken Is Done Grilling
Its the most precise way of telling if the chicken is done. The perfect internal temperature is 165 degrees for dark meat, 160 degrees for white. If you dont have an instant-read thermometer, you can always do a little cut into the middle to check that its just about opaque in the center.
How To Reheat Grilled Chicken Using An Air Fryer
Air fryers have become a handy, low energy way to cook and reheat food. Its great for reheating boneless chicken but you just have to watch it carefully. Moisture is the most important part of reheating grilled chicken in an air fryer. Its possible to reheat bone-in chicken in an air fryer, but you need to keep turning it as you heat it up, on a very low setting. Use an oil mister or a pastry brush to add a bit of fat to your chicken pieces. Preheat the air fryer to 350 for about a minute. The low setting will help it keep from becoming too crispy too fast.Lay the chicken evenly spaced and not touching each other on the basket. Start at 3 minutes, then turn the pieces with tongs. Heat for another minute or two. Check for a sizzle on the chicken. Remove with tongs.

Best Prep Method: Butterflied
I’ve extolled the virtues of butterflied chicken in the past for oven-cooking applications, and I’m happy to report that it is just as successful for cooking chicken on the grill. How does it work its magic?
The most important thing that butterflying does is that it exposes the legs and thighs. With a whole chicken, the thigh joints are underneath the chicken’s back, insulated by plenty of fat and bone. They take a long time to cook. By the time they reach the requisite 165 to 170°F , the breasts of the chicken are well beyond overcooked.
After you cut out the backbone and flatten the bird, I find that running a metal or wooden skewer through its thighs and breasts will keep it level and make it easier to maneuver on the grill.
Chicken And Vegetable Stir Fry
This is among the simplest and heathiest ways to use your leftover grilled chicken breast. Simply cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Saute your favorite sliced vegetables in olive oil. I suggest onions, bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms. When vegetables are almost done, add chicken and finish cooking. Season with your favorite spice, if desired.

The Best Grilled Chicken
Sometimes in cooking the simplest dishes are the hardest to get right, and grilled chicken is a perfect example. Because boneless chicken breasts are so lean, they often turn out dry, rubbery, and bland. Contrary to popular belief, marinating alone will not save grilled chicken from drying out in fact, its often the marinade that causes the problem!
My technique and marinade ensure tender, juicy, and flavorful grilled chicken every time. You can serve the fillets on their own as a healthy main course , topped with cheese on a toasted bun, or, as I often do, sliced over a Caesar salad. Bonus: the recipe is quick and easy. You do all of the prep ahead of time and you wont even dirty a single bowl.
